AFTER OUR LAST SUCCESS…
and many requests from TEN Members we have decided to have another “Speed Networking” evening. This time it will be at the fabulous Nabarro Offices on London Wall and the evening promises to be as good fun and informative as last time.
This is a chance to get to know each other better, understand one another’s talents and hopefully make some great referrals.
We are going to keep it very simple, and FAST!
Each person will have a full 2 minutes undivided attention of everyone they meet, on a one-to-one basis.
Some simple (and very obvious) tips on making the most out of speed networking:
Smile – make the meeting as casual as possible and make it memorable
Get their details – ask for people’s business cards – and always exchange yours! Bring a notebook and pen.
Connect with people on LinkedIn afterwards – and include a personalise message referring to TEN, with a connection request
Look people up after, and tailor your follow up based on not only what you remember them saying, but what you can discover from their online profiles
Enjoy it and have fun – the people you meet at this event could be your future friend, client or strategic partner.
We will start at 6:15 pm sharp and aim to finish at 7:30 pm with drinks, nibbles and the opportunity to catch up with the contacts you have made that are the most interesting to you!
This is a great opportunity make sure all the members know who you are and what you want or what you do.
