‘Is the Internet killing your business?

Almost everything you do in business these days involves the Internet.  Whether it’s an email, looking up information and data, or finding new suppliers, there’s a jolly good chance it involves the Internet.  But how much of your time is the Internet taking?  Studies show that the Internet is reducing business productivity not increasing it.  This presentation will show how the Internet is stealing your time and what you can do about it.

This talk is aimed at anyone who works in the business sector, either as an individual consultant or as part of an office team.  Indeed, if you use the Internet at work, this presentation is aimed at you.

At this presentation, you will discover:

  • How to regain the time that is taken from you through online activity
  • What you need to do to avoid being distracted by the myriad of wonders in the online world, such as social media
  • The steps you need to take to improve your productivity in the Internet age

Graham Jones is a psychologist who specialises in understanding how people behave online and how they use the Internet. He consults with businesses to help them improve their online presence, utilising psychological principles. He is a part-time academic, working for both the Open University and the University of Buckingham.

Graham is an award-winning speaker, an award-winning writer and is the former President of the Professional Speaking Association. He is the author of 32 books, including his latest “Click.ology” which is about the psychology of online shopping.

When he is not online, you can find Graham watching rugby matches with his 17-year-old son, or relaxing on a cruise ship as he loves life on the ocean waves.
