“What lies beyond leadership? – the vital role of NEDS in seeding the next generations of elders and leaders”

Trevor has spent his life leading and developing leaders, but in the past decade and a half has been focused on how we recover elders within every level of society. He sees leadership as key to recovering eldership and eldership as key to recovering a transformative view of leadership.
NEDs play a key role in being elders themselves and seeding the idea of eldership in their organisation’s leaders. Examples of where this is vital is in succession planning, developing a deeper sense of mission for the organisation, and developing the heart and character of the leader.

He created the for-profit company, The Executive Coach Ltd, with a blue-chip client list working across all sectors and developed the Integrated Global Leadership Model, a holistic framework used in corporate leadership development.
In 2005 Trevor began a journey that led to the founding of the charity Emerging Leaders, a global non-profit that brings the best leadership development to the most vulnerable communities in the world. The Emerging Leaders programmes have impacted over 85,000 people in 16 countries, with an indirect impact on over 2.5 million people. Recently he has developed the online learning programme The Youth Compass Project, an investment that focuses on the heart and character that will enable young people around the world to liberate their own unique potential and learn to lead, love and leave a legacy.
Trevor has written and spoken on a wide range of leadership issues across three continents.
His 9 books include,
· Becoming Mandela – Be Your Legacy (Amazon 2021)
· The 18 Challenges of Leadership (Pearsons 2004)
