Yes, you’ve heard it all before – the impacts of Covid, the economy, aging population and ageism, digitalization …. and so on … is changing the world of work. For those that no longer want to work this is not an issue – or is it? For those that do, navigating a successful pathway is increasingly challenging.
Old contacts have left the market – many died, retired, moved etc; third party sources of business leads – headhunters, interim providers, networking groups , etc – have changed massively and there are many more (a lot online!); LinkedIn – ever more powerful; IR35 reducing the interim market; less in person networking and shifting to online proving increasingly frustrating; an endless list of change. But also, opportunities – if you know where to look and how to leverage!!
Recently, Karen Jones has had the privilege of learning so much from several XTEND members of how they see the new working world. And how XTEND members can help each other – whether they want to work or not – grasp the endless opportunities.

We are looking to run an IN PERSON XTEND session that would look to replicate the benefits of Karen’s learning, and add to it by the power of even more XTEND members in attendance. The more the better!
The plan is for us to all share our knowledge in a facilitated way, through an active, sharing workshop which will be run:
• At a London venue
• With further networking – before and after
• Times from 4.30 onwards – networking, followed by workshop, then more networking
